Currently in the market we find all kinds of footwear, from an elastic strip that sticks to the sole of the foot to protect it and not having to wear shoes, making this fabric the function of a sole, to protective boots whose hardness could break rocks with a kick.

This shoe was born from the union of concepts of the collections "Anaïs x Chanel" and "08002" by Amy Snell and Eulalia Barceló, students of 3rd year of fashion together with Rita Guzmán, student of 1st year of product. We could fit it into the shoes as platforms, but we did not find anything similar in the market. In the collection "Anaïs x Chanel" is inspired by the strict childhood of Chanel in the Sacred Heart of Mary; In "08002" we find a totally different inspiration, the painting The Ladies of Avignon by Picasso, as it was a great reference for Coco Chanel. This painting represents in a cubist way the prostitutes in Barcelona.

Art in footwear

The "liquid" sole represents the pleasurable juices of the body with holy water. Giving a viscous texture, with a bold and juicy vision. The upper is a traditional Menorcan shoe, whose end would not be expected with such a sole. In this garment we uncover the concept of Christian purity, with a part that a nun could wear in her daily life, along with something so impure for this same group such as sexual juices. Giving this shoe so daring and different.

The prototype is made in 3D printing and thin sheets of plastic. The color has been given by means of a thermochromatic nail polish which, when heated, becomes transparent and reveals only the glitter.
