In this project we are asked to advise an investor on which relevant historic building is suitable to invest in an interior design. In this case, the target would be an American multinational company called Nike, dedicated to the design, development, manufacture and marketing of sports equipment.

The idea chosen in this case has been the construction of a Pop Up Store, in which this company can show its collection of products in an artistic and ephemeral space. Thanks to this context, we have considered that the best location would be the San Juan de los Reyes Church (Albaizín, Granada) since it was an old mosque that was demolished after the reconquest of Granada by the Catholic Monarchs.

For the creation of this Pop Up store we focused on the central interior space of the church, building a cubic structure wrapped in a white fabric to contrast with the cream-colored stone of the building. This structure would be a redesign of the Kaaba, Islam's holiest shrine, traditionally made of black stone wrapped in gold-embroidered silk fabric, which is located in the garden of the great mosque in Mecca.

Inside, we would find a fully colorful enclosed space, which would display the different shades in which we would find the garments inside square shelves that would reach the ceiling, giving a sense of infinity. There would also be a vending machine in which to buy the product and a virtual mirror / tester that would occupy an entire wall in which to try on the garment in Virtual Reality.
