Interview

The school opened its door in April 2013 although it was not until the course 2014-2015 when began to impart official degree. We talk to Jose Antonio Gonzalez co-founder of ESADA.

What it means ESADA for you?

For me it is a dream that as a teacher I had since many years ago and thanks my partner Carmen and my former partner Antonio, we have been able to carry out.

Why you decided to use the Project Based Learning (PLB) method to teach your students?

After many years teaching, both in public and private center, we had detected that was lacking experience in classroom. There was a lot of theory knowledge but so little application and a lot of untying in some areas of knowledge and we thought that work with PLB in an integrated project could give a practical sense to the studies besides joining the different knowledge areas and brings a significant knowledge to our students.

What do you think about the trajectory of the students since they begin until they graduate?

Neither we never could imagine that trajectory would be so good, nor people would learn so much. Quality of projects is excellent in comparison with most of similar schools with similar courses.

What do you think about teacher body?

The more time we work together the better we work and through the years, we are happier with them, the quality of teaching, without a doubt, it is reflected in students learning.

Which values do you want the school to transmit the public outside?

Closeness, professionality and quality.

How do you see ESADA in a few years?

I see it growing, but also I don’t see it becoming in in a great center with thousand and thousand of students, we do not want to lose the close treat with the students because it is something that characterizes us and differentiates us from the rest.
