Offline arises from the current nostalgic trend that brings back elements of the 2000s. There are many events that marked this new millennium, such as the appearance of the first smartphones, wireless internet connections and the beginnings of the almighty Google.

The goal of Offline is to revive this era with references to popular culture but without being too intrusive so that the younger audience does not feel disconnected.

Offline is a city created in cyberspace where avatars and video game characters rest when users disconnect. This large metropolis is
designed for the tranquility and enjoyment of its inhabitants but sometimes this peace is interrupted by infectious and very destructive Malware attacks. To eliminate these threats, there are pest control companies spread throughout the city's districts. Keep the city safe? Beating the competition and being the best in the market? Now that's a challenge!

The mechanics of this game are simple and easy to understand. The character always advances at a constant speed and when he collides with any element of the scene or falls into the void he dies immediately, restarting the level. Pressing the space bar makes a jump to dodge or climb on the obstacles and with the left mouse click you can destroy the Malware infections that obstruct the passage. The main difficulty of this game is to coordinate both actions to advance, repeating the scenario in each attempt and memorizing the position of the obstacles.
