It begins the preparation of the ESADA access tests

Last Tuesday began the preparation course for the entrance exams to the Official Careers that are taught in our school.

The course, which takes place between Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday until the date of the tests, aims to provide the necessary skills to our future students, who have already booked their place in our center. In the last call, July 2017, 95% of our students passed the entrance exam.

Students who want to study design in Spain have to pass the specific access tests to these careers, in addition to having passed the baccalaureate or the maturity test.

The specific design access test consists of the following parts:

• Test Part 1 "History of Design". It consists of one text commentary and one image commentary. In this exercise we will assess: the degree of maturity in terms of understanding concepts, the appropriate use of language and written expression, as well as analysis, synthesis and relationship abilities. This exercise accounts for 50% of the grade.
• Test Part 2 "Drawing". You have to choose between two models proposed by the examining board, and you must make the drawings by hand. In this exercise, you will assess the use of drawing as a skill and resource to analyze, synthesize and represent, as well as the use of drawing as an instrument to communicate the significant information that you want to transmit. This exercise accounts for 25% of the grade.
• Test Part 3 "Creative project". A project must be proposed from a sentence or a text. This project will be composed of a justifying text and a graphic development part. This exercise accounts for 25% of the grade.
