LaSiesta was born from the need to disconnect from problems, stress and anguish, and to have a suitable space to do so.

In the last year the mental health of the entire population has deteriorated due to the health and economic crisis, which has worsened a situation that was already worrying health experts. Frenetic routines, rushing, immediacy, self-demands, have increased the number of patients who come to consult with nervous and anxiety crises, and even with worse ailments caused by these.

The need to stay at home has also modified the environments, blurring the spaces for leisure and work. This has made it difficult to disconnect mentally, leading to the need to maintain a little corner where we can escape, rest and find peace.

LaSiesta arises from all this , halfway between the sofa and the bed, designed looking for, more than rest, comfort through freedom of movement and posture. Its main function is to invite and encourage moments of relaxation and disconnection, so important in a social panorama of crisis and stress, in which the dividing line between work and leisure spaces at home has blurred.

Inspired by the sea, its waves, and the sensation of floating on it, it has a soft organic shape, combined with simple straight lines, to create a harmonious and simple piece.

Made of painted steel tube, its low and wide seat offers multiple postural possibilities, optimal for different activities. Customizable from a catalog of colors and fabrics, the user makes a piece of furniture his own, ready for both indoors and outdoors: Andalusian character, Mediterranean style.
