Thanks to collaborations between students from different specialties, projects like this one, by Paula Garnica, a Product Design student, arise.
The footwear created is inspired by the collections of two Fashion Design students: 'Alma', by Cristina Hernández and 'Through The Lens' by Alicia Martín. Based on their designs, Paula focuses on the similarities and differences of both collections to create a simple and neutral product, without neglecting the details.
By using techniques as different as the Japanese 'zori' braiding and thermoforming, a shoe is created in a single piece of canvas, reducing the number of seams, which is combined with a cotton sole, providing breathability and flexibility, while reinforcing against friction.
