Ana María Aldana Vidal

2ºBA Interior Design
Excavation by Artesan

This is the title of this project carried out by our student Ana María Aldana, in the 2nd year of the Official Degree in Interior Design.

The project begins with a very simple briefing: to design a workspace that in turn serves as a store and showroom for fashion designer Evelín Martínez. Thanks to the execution of this project we visualized the artisanal value present in the designer's personal brand. In her documentation and research process, our student Ana wanted to connect the intervention of the store with the world of fashion, so she decided to use the textile formwork technique, which allowed her to use accessible structural materials, while providing texture to the surfaces.

For the projection of the project, the premises were conceived as a solid block, from which pieces are extracted to create the living spaces. In addition, the use of large windows is intended to show the interior from the outside, as if it were a simile of the values of trust and transparency that are also part of the brand identity.
