GMS - Glucose Meter in Sweat
GMS is a smart ring aimed at diabetics, regardless of their type of diabetes, with which they can improve their quality of life, being informed in real time of their blood sugar without the need for needle pricks.

This ring consists of a sweat biosensor, made of carbon nanotubes and carboxylic acid, which reacts to glucose. Inside the ring, in addition to these sensors and a lithium battery, there will be a processor and a Bluetooth transmitter that will read and send the information in real time to an App installed on the smartphone.

The app will have the following functionality:
  1. To be informed in real time of the blood sugar, so the user will be able to control the insulin to be taken at each moment.
  2. Keeping a history of blood sugar levels, which is very useful for the doctor, as he/she will be able to have better information about the patient.
  3. Program alarms for warnings when sugar levels go below or above established levels, being very important for sleeping hours, waking up before having hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia (very low or very high blood sugar, respectively).
