Erasmus+ Mobility for studies at ESADA from February to June 2023.

Hello, I am Tommaso and I attended the 3rd year of product design course at Esada.

If I had to describe my year abroad I would say it was amazing. 

From the very first day in Granada I had a really good feeling in the city and with its citizens. Granada's lifestyle is something that you cannot find somewhere else, and the Spanish tradition makes the city and the people really warm. The first approach with Esada was beautiful. The director and the erasmus coordinator Felix are very kind and helpful in all the task we had during the mobility and they supported us for everything we needed. The product design course was very satisfying the subjects give the students the opportunity to discover different areas of design. In fact the course offeres at the same time the opportunuty to learn both, how to work with the materials and with hands thanks to the Fab Lab and how to develop and manage the design process during the theory classes. 

This kind of system gives the opportunity to learn everything about product design.

The city is not really big and for me that was perfect. Everything is really close and in just 20 minutes you could reach by walk all the shops and spot that you need. There is very little traffic and the whole city center is a walk zone.

The opportunities to visit Andalusia are a lot. Just in 2 hours by bus you can visit the main city's of the region, as Cordoba, Sevilla, Malaga and during the spring and summer time, the beaches are 45 minutes away. Last but not least: if you love hiking Granada is the best for you. Just above the city there is Sierra nevada, the second highest mountain in Spain. I did many excursion and as long as there is still snow you can go skiing.

In the end I had the opportunity to make many friends from all over the world. I created a very close relationship with them and I cannot wait to see them again. 

If you are thinking about doing your Erasmus here, I think it's the right decision, an opportunity you cannot miss.
