Would you believe us if we told you that 86% of Roma students drop out of school early?

Education should be the place where everyone has a place, where they learn to be, to be and to dream. However, for many children, that path is interrupted too early. Not for lack of talent or abilities, but because they continue to face barriers that most do not even see: prejudice, lack of role models, low expectations, social inequality and a system that does not always look out for them.

When a Roma child drops out of school, it is not only he or she who loses. We all lose. We lose doctors, artists, teachers, entrepreneurs, leaders... we lose talent, diversity and the possibility of building a just society.

What is Kali Educa?

Kali Educa is an educational program designed to support gypsy boys and girls in their school career, offering them the tools, the accompaniment and the references that every student needs in their educational stage. We come to open doors, broaden horizons and demonstrate that talent does not understand origins, but only opportunities.

How have we done it?

To make this program possible, we have designed attractive merchandising to reward children who join the program, thus encouraging them to do so. We have also developed a striking brand identity to be easily identifiable for everyone. Finally, it is also worth mentioning the collaboration with other foundations, such as Secretariado Gitano, in which we have supported our project.
