The objective of this project is to design the 2019-2020 yearbook of ESADA, Escuela Superior de Arte y Diseño de Andalucía.

To do this, the team conducted an extensive study about the layout of a yearbook and its technical specifications in terms of the correct ergonomics, the right paper or typography and the ideal color to achieve the best result.

The group came up with the concept of "Nest", a metaphor with which they represent the school. For them it is a home to develop their skills as designers and prepare for the future:

"Each student is a small egg that, during its growth, will learn to find its own style and find itself, finally arriving the moment to hatch and break the working world."

In addition, the egg is associated with the circular shape, which is a closed concept that symbolizes them.

Each section of the magazine is related to a specialty or event, which has been developed in a different color, forming a chromatic spectrum. In this way, every aspect of the design is essential because, if someone is missing, the circle would be incomplete.

The objective of Nido is to promote both design careers and ESADA, so it is aimed at a specific target: young people who are in their study process and may be interested in this specialization. However, their goal was to make it dynamic, absorbing and delightful so that it can capture anyone's attention.
