I am sure that all of you, at some point, have been involved in a never-ending routine; and the fact is that we live, sometimes without realizing it, in Groundhog Day, where our hobbies are pushed aside by work and obligations.

"Groundhog Day" is much more than a spaceship; it is a social and philosophical experiment that explores the monotony of routine, the perception of time and the personal search for the meaning of life.

This innovative interior design project is a critique of routine, proposing a unique experience for couples traveling to Mars with the goal of populating new civilizations.

The spacecraft, in the form of a loop, creates a closed path in which each room is designed to offer spaces dedicated to different parts of the day, forcing the crew members to follow the path. In this way, we create an experience that, although repetitive, invites reflection and self-knowledge.

This loop is also presented as a challenge for the couple, having the possibility of gaining control over the routine, being able to escape from that route and unlock two hidden rooms, but this could only be achieved with good cooperation.

These hidden rooms, like "black holes", are cylindrical in shape, with black finishes and two circular windows on both the ceiling and floor. In addition, these cores have 0 gravity, allowing free movement and creating a perfect place of escape from routine.

This journey is not only physical, but also emotional: it strengthens the couples' relationship by testing them and allowing them to re-evaluate their life and their bond while exploring the emptiness of the space. A project that combines design, psychology and adventure for the couples of the future.

What life do you want to have? What society do we want to build?

Your future, your decision.
