The Four Kilograms collection reflects the "imperfections" of the female body. Focusing on the silhouette of women, the transcendences of the skin and the imperfections of the female body, such as stretch marks, cellulite, wrinkles, scars and skin with vitiligo. Through the designs, the consequences of skin diversity are conveyed, from its physical appearance to the negative feelings it provokes in oneself, insecurities or the impact on self-esteem.

In addition, the fabrics have been chosen to represent the textures of imperfections, through their feel, draping, overlapping and volume. The fabrics used are corduroy, wool, stretch crepe, linen, cotton, twill and tulle mesh, all dyed with different skin tones and MIREVS brand colors (blue, yellow, orange, red, green, black and white). Likewise, the designs are inspired by the silhouettes of the nineties and their minimalism, in search of individuality and freedom.

Specifically, the first design is composed of three garments. The first is a cream-colored cotton shirt with puffed sleeves. On the right side there are small volumes of crepe sewn with recycled buttons that symbolize the nipples. The other sleeve has a screen-printed message: "it's just a nipple". The dress is sewn in pale pink stretch crepe so that it can be draped over the female silhouette. Finally, the stockings, which are in tulle mesh, are embroidered with a print depicting the most controversial parts of the female body, such as us, tits, ass and vaginas.

The second design is specially composed of a hand-knitted light brown wool sweater and a draped gray linen dress, as a metaphor for the wrinkles and erosion suffered by the rocks with the passage of time. Finally, a bag has been made, with the same fabric as the dress, draped and with a handle carved in recycled oak wood with the silhouette of the female body inspired by the Venus of Willendorf.

This collection is not only based on aesthetic aspects, but goes much further. I want to make clear the message that through fashion and that people can get to see the art that is in their body and that everyone can achieve self-acceptance. Despite being a popular topic, we still have a lot of work to do.
